To fellow #LFC fans, I say this.

Once more, the result totally does not reflect the game. Liverpool had 27 shots to PSG's 9. Theirs were better quality, but we still registered 2.66 xG to their 2.21. And check out the attacking momentum below.

Keep the faith […]

My word, this is bleak. Imagine having everything material that the world can give you and still being so inadequate.

This shot-map from https://www.fotmob.com/matches/real-madrid-vs-liverpool/2gxhcg#4947117:tab=stats is pretty astonishing. I'm not sure I've ever seen so many shots from right in front of the goal, five to twelve yards out.

When people (mostly Tories and Reform supporters) say they want to repeal the European Convention on Human Rights, I wonder which specific rights they want to get rid of? Which of these do they not want?

Listening to Nursery Cryme. What a great, great album it is. Any album with The Musical Box, The Return of the Giant Hogweed AND Harold the Barrel is a stone cold classic.

It was Genesis's third album, but really their first in terms of sudden arrival at their […]

Seen in a street market in Naples. It's the only known sculpture of the Venus de Milo when she was a baby.

Seen in the Royal Palace museum at Portici, a suburb of Naples: an early prototype of Thomas the Tank Engine.

At first glance this toothbrush holder seems to be having a great time. But look closer and you can see a cold, hard deadness behind his eyes.

@mlawton Right. If you play a low block for 90+ minutes but do it ineffectively enough that you concede 27 shots for total of 2.65 xG, you can't legitimately complain if your opponents nick a goal.

If Forbes is right, then the wealth of top 0.000118% increased by 22% last year.

Did YOUR wealth increase by 22% last year?

No? Then maybe billionaires' interests are not aligned with yours.

Here's what we've all been saying about Keir Starmer's Reform-appeasing policy: Labour's decline in popularity since the General Election has seen 14% of their voters leave for the right (10% Reform, 4% Tory) — and 26% to the left (13% Lib Dems, 10% Greens, 2% […]

I am seeing so much more of this crap, now — meaning that hopping over to a web-site becomes a ten-second delay rather than being near-instant. I assume that LLM crawlers are to blame for this increased delays and gatekeeping. _sigh_.
