I was going to retire my Windows 7 Media Center PC with CableCard and drop cable TV. But a snafu in my provider's ordering system reset my discounts to ones I lost in an earlier snafu. My bill now costs the same as current plans without cable so I have no reason to drop cable or retire the PC.
