Shrimp, Spanish style - garlic lightly fried in lots of oil, some smoked paprika, and a healthy squirt of lemon juice at the end. Plus some parsley. Ate em with a toasted ciabatta cut into cubes 😋 #food 🍜

Fried rice with beef fat. Thai name is ข้าวผัดมันเนื้อ. Not many ingredients but such a nice dish.

#food 🍜

Small pieces of fatty beef give the dish a nice savoury flavour. The crispy shallots add texture. The rice is al dente and not mushy.

Awesome video on browning food - use water at the start. Works for onions, mushrooms, bacon and other meats.

Made this today and it didn't disappoint. Thanks for the suggestion.

I didn't have labneh, so just used Greek yoghurt with some lime, dill, and garlic. And swapped almonds for pine nuts.

Finally got the smooth, plastic-like finish on my smash burgers. I smashed them extra hard today and also added baking powder which is known to help meat brown and retain moisture.

Quick lunch break Ragu. Uses pork sausage meat. Sauce is made with cream, wine, and stock. 🍜 #food

Not much to look at but tasted nice. Adding juice from half a lime at the end made it taste much better and helped balance the acidity and fat.

Newsletter: Generative AI is a marketing con perpetuated by Sam Altman and Dario Amodei through a mixture of lies and half-truths carried by a tech media that fails to ask the right questions. Outside of ChatGPT, generative AI companies barely get any traffic at all.

Thai yellow curry and shrimp. Same recipe as the link below but with shrimp instead of crab. You can make it with any sweet white fish/seafood.

Converting TW hex colours with AI.

GPT uses the same hue for each entry, which is wrong. Plus, it chose the wrong hue (240), which doesn't belong to any entry and could be the average hue of the scale.

Didn't yet check every DeepSeek output, but it appears visually correct.

Fried rice with tuna and omelette. Not much oil used and 35g of good-quality protein. Easy WFH lunch. The flavour comes from the "prik nam pla" - fish sauce with lime juice and chili. You can add other stuff like garlic and shallots. hot-thai-kitchen.com/prik-nam-pla/ #food #thailand

Breakfast in Phuket. Dim sum, kai krata, steamed buns and massaman curry, and rice noodles with curry. First time I've had Thai tea in ages. It was just right and not too sweet. #food #thailand #phuket
