Anywhere, at any time in your life. Security. Knowing it's never going to get worse. I think suicides and mental health in general would improve overnight. Crime would follow.

This is the future. UBI/Pension. We'll have a supplementary "cracks" program for those this doesn't serve but for the vast majority a single simple cash entitlement is the way to go. During your earning years you turn it off and the government puts it away for you but turns on as needed.

We have sufficient tax base in this nation to fund monthly UBI payments roughly 1.6x current average Social Security benefit (which you can invest when you're not using it) AND Medicare-for-all and not lose a single billionaire.
