I think she gets it… I get that Patrick Stewart wanted to tell new stories about a man who’d changed over time, but Kate Mulgrew seems to know who her captain is. Janeway would never have resigned and quit.

I believe that’s his power stone.

Dude, as someone who works with and is good friends with a guy who has hearing loss and mostly refuses to wear the hearing aids the VA paid for, get the hearing aids. Please, I’m not sure you realize how much you’re impacting others by not correcting something that’s easily corrected.

Who is actually surprised by any of this? Seriously, this was easily predictable, and guess what? My 21 year old daughter has been predicting exactly this scenario, SINCE SHE WAS 11! Trump is doing exactly what he’s always said, and Project 2025 told us exactly just his enablers would do.

Aron was a good dude, and a great ambassador for the franchise.

I get that you guys are trying to toe the line with respect to not angering the more extreme, right wing folks who read AFTimes, but ya gotta do better. Trump is threatening to take territory from another sovereign nation, one that happens to be our ally. That needs to be clearly explained.

Why is this being reported like it’s news?

Close, but it still probably goes to ancient Athens.

That’s a part of it, but you have to understand that the only people being paid sub-minimum wage are people who are part of government programs to help them with employment. They’re usually living in group homes, or with family, on Medicaid, and usually wouldn’t be employable otherwise.

Missing the forest for the trees, isn’t he? The goal is to get these elected officials to listen to their employers, and right now that means causing a ruckus.

I’m just amazed at how far right-wing media can and will go to defend the indefensible. Forget about the journalist, discussing troop movements and timing is something you don’t do through unsecured channels. This kind of bullshit is what gets people killed, both US service-members and civilians.

We wanted the future that you and the rest of the people behind Trek have been showing us since 1966, and instead we’re getting Altered Carbon with a side of The Handmaid’s Tale, and just for good measure a healthy dose of retro-racism and legalized segregation.

Y’all know damn well that Uhura would have had their comms encrypted, scrambled, sub-space frequency-hopping, and they’d still be using coded phrases.

If Hilary got a dollar every time Trump or one of his idiot disciples does something illegal, cruel, or stupid, she’d have more money than Elon did before he decided to grenade our country and his reputation.

It SHOULD be obvious, but go over to the Fox cable channel website and take a look at how right-wing media is already spinning this. From blaming the reporter to downplaying the significance they’re in full spin-mode. Guess what? Their audience will not only buy it, they’ll use it to blame democrats

I didn’t know Berkshire-Hathaway owned RMP, but knowing that now tells me these people are urinating into the wind. They can protest and set up meetings, but the decisions are being made in back rooms and through campaign donations.

Because if people weren’t given targets to fear they might start to think about the billionaires. Pure distraction, nothing more, only another thing to add to bread and circuses.

The irony of calling that man DEI by people like the orange guy and the drunk guy should be lost on no one.

of my banking info, and sent a legal notice (of dubious legality…) to my bank, seizing about $5K in total. I’ve, again, been in contact with agents there. To be clear, I’ve requested any and all documentation related to their claim, only to be told no. There’s no actual court order, and there was no

reflected on the W-2 for both years, is Utah. Nobody can even explain why CFTB is claiming they’re entitled to this money, and over 15 years I’ve had dozens of conversations with agents there, agents who either told me it was corrected, or just did nothing. This past summer they, somehow, got hold

rising costs and not enough content… for the amount of money you’re charging, I don’t ever want to see an ad, or anything other than the content I selected. At this point it would be cheaper over the long run to just buy the movies I care enough about to pay money for, and generally ignore the rest.
