maybe it's because there's usually a central gimmick/theme?? but i can definitely confirm that tourabu has made many, many people interested in japanese swords and history (pretty sure the game had collabs with museums for sword displays/viewing too)

DLC should be an *extra* bonus, whether that's extra challenges, lore, gear, characters, bosses, alternate what-if scenarios. they shouldn't feel mandatory. it's complete horse💩 when a true ending is locked behind DLC. just because i got the game it doesn't mean i should get the DLC too.
