Right. But how about those in the left who let Trump win because they wanted to punish Genocide Joe and Kamala?

Exactly. One crime does not eliminate the other crime. And I’m not judging which is worse. Looking historically, the Zionist movement is the prime mover though not the only factor.

Quotes are quotes and not universal and timeless ideas. That’s it. They illustrate their time and describe their speaker. They don’t necessarily increase the validity of a point of view in another context. What he said applied to his context, our context presents us with another difficult choice.

I agree. Doesn’t diminish the role of Hamas attack though. Goes back to Balfour, and to the pogroms of the 19th century, it’s a long list if we are to include every single aspect.

He did the right thing, he should have spoken so since the beginning. Hamas’ attack is directly responsible for the current war. If Israel is waging a genocidal war, Hamas made it easy for them. Hamas is not the answer to the current apartheid and the plight of the Palestinian people.

If there are only two options (eg. Harris vs Trump), I will always and always vote to avoid a Trump presidency. Malcolm X was a great leader, doesn’t mean you can deploy all his quotes for all purposes.

In a final twist, Hegseth following his tenure as secretary will convert to Islam, marry a beautiful amirati princess (and her besties) and devote himself to a life of piety and shunning the world in Dubai.

Export Bayraktar drones and Kaan airfighters (that fly to nowhere) enough and this is what you end up with.

Though there’s the matter of drones export but this is hit and miss (get hit?). It wins Türkiye supporters and enemies at the same time.

Has to be some sort of Turkish government PR. Turkey had some sort of “soft power” in Africa with Gulen schools (and the businessmen around them) but now that Erdogan either had them shuttered or took them over for a blunt nationalist foreign agenda, I don’t think Turkey commands the same sympathy.
