Itse yksinkertaisena hyppäsin vaiheet yli 7,5 vuotta sitten kun tavoitteena oli hankkia suhteessa vähemmän haittaa aiheuttava kulkupeli entisen paljon ajetun bensa-auton tilalle.
Toki paras vaihtoehto olisi autottomuus.
Itse yksinkertaisena hyppäsin vaiheet yli 7,5 vuotta sitten kun tavoitteena oli hankkia suhteessa vähemmän haittaa aiheuttava kulkupeli entisen paljon ajetun bensa-auton tilalle.
Toki paras vaihtoehto olisi autottomuus.

Simppeli mökki-illallinen maistui hyvältä. Ja päälle jälkkäriksi lapsuusmuistoja seuraillen voipottu.
Ai mitä herkkua vaikka voi on sittemmin vaihtunut kasvirasvaan (kuten kaikki muukin kasvipohjaiseen).

Tuli kokeiltua tehdä eläimetön bataatticurry jonka oheen pitkästä aikaa riisiä.
Aivan hyvää, mitä nyt chiliä meni vähän liikaa kun unohdin ostaa tuoretta ja jauheen maun vahvistuminen haudutettaessa pääsi taas yllättämään tumpelon kokin... 😅

Interesting to follow the impact from nature diversification work done in Nuuksio National Park (Southern Finland) on former forestry land recently added to the park.
Bog restoration was initiated 4y ago by blocking and filling up trenches and controlled forest fire was done 2y ago.

Took a day off and went for a bit longer trail walk in with our kelpie prince keeping the pace up 😅.
Was peaceful and nice on familiar unmarked trails in Nuuksio national park in Finland. And enough up'n down to make feet feel they have done something 😀.

My #hiking image of day 6, the bottom dam made recently to control the water level of Iso-Valvatti near Salamajärvi NP in Finland.
The lake had been lowered long time ago to get a hay field. It then became wet sanctuary for birds but uneven water level was problematic - and the dam fixes it 🙂.

What I managed to capture from the two big forest deers I got good glimpse of.
Hunted to extinction in Finland, now back to a degree thanks to bringing them back.
This deer is close relative to reindeer, but is fully wild and lives in forests.
Grand ☺️

Most of the trail in Etelä-Sydänmaa and Suurijärvi was protected lands, going through the endlessly rocky pine forests, not to forget lots of mire and small lakes.
Yet found flat enough spot for my mid 🙂.

Otherwise the Peuran polku route took mostly outside protected areas so it was more of an observation of human impact. And to some extent road marching, which is tedious but somehow calming as well.

A week ago I completed first 12 months of monthly outside sleeping in two linked one-nighters in South-Western Finland (Koskeljärvi & Vaskijärvi). Total was 43, happily.
Once again was so good to get out and soak in early spring nature, with lots of light and birds singing.
