Very cool. I'm sharing this at work as I can guarantee no one knows about it...yet. Question, lots of good livelabs to point to to learn things like Duality Views. Several of those labs points to the use of REST and MongoDB API's. Any plans to expose those interfaces/ports as well?

Given the way that rsync works you can actually let it copy files while data pump is writing to them but you must restart the rsync job when data pump is done and it will then write all the correct blocks and you can run a checksum on the transfer.

I reacted to your comment regarding rsync.

rsync is the gold standard for copying files. Nothing is more trustworthy than rsync and it's also a resumable process.

Moving segments of an export will also not let you know if a segment is corrupt until you have all segments on the target. Then what?

Hi;-)

I get that but how does re-announcing old versions of your software help people that don't know? That was my point...

Maybe I should stop promoting your stuff at work...so how that helps

Wow! Didn’t expect that one…

ok, I only see your account doing these re-posts drowning out actual news:-)

I get that part but why? Reading about old releases of SQL Developer or SQLcl isn’t helpful. It clutters the feed.
September 17, 2025 at 11:31 AM
What’s up with all the old news filling up my feed?
September 17, 2025 at 5:21 AM
yes, but obviously I can't reproduce the issue now. It happened like old faithful on my old faithful iMac running Ventura but no more... If it happens again I'll record the screen:-) Did not see the issue on my M2 macs...

Is he really that stupid to run this on live production data? Smells like a click bait.
