I just published the daylight developing tray I've designed and used to develop my 4x5 negatives. I've used 120ml of D76 1:1. Even development and no light leaks so far. I printed it in black PetG.

I taped my home made wooden pinhole camera to my guitar and danced around the living room to smoothen out the background. My family thinks I'm weird.

I entered this to a competition (theme: music) at my local camera club for fun.

Two weeks ago me and my wife went on a 100 km-something backpack through Femundsmarka, Rogen, and Långfjället with tent. We had very mixed weather, which resulted in some beautiful photographic conditions.

I also had my pinhole camera, but the negs need to be developed.

My most successful toning of a cyanotype so far: fenugreek tea without prior bleaching. I think I prefer the untoned one for this particular subject.

I love reading old books about the Swedish mountains and its surroundings. This one is a gem: Sarek by Svante Lundgren, published in 1946. The cover page photo was taken on the same spot that I was last summer, but 80-something years earlier.

Fibre base print of a pinhole photo of my tent pitched above northern Rapa valley. Snow and glaciers are visible on the mountains in the distance. Split-grade printing was used to manipulate local contrast. The contrast in the river and distant mountains was increased by dodging the soft exposure and burning the hard exposure. The foreground was dodged during the soft exposure to lighten it and increase contrast. The sky was burned down during the soft exposure. The print is split-tone in sepia and selenium, then mounted to an album page using heat-activated adhesive.

Revisiting f-stop printing to be able to locally manipulate contrast. In the final print (will post when mounted) I increased the contrast in the foreground and distant mountains, and burned in the sky.

Three test strips. The leftmost is made with filter 5 in 1/6 stop increments starting at 8s. The middle is the same but with filter 00. The rightmost is the sum of the selected filter 5 and filter 00 exposures.
