- hMPV is a common respiratory virus
- Most people infected have mild upper respiratory symptoms
- increase in seasonal influenza, rhinovirus, RSV & hMPV in China is within the range expected for this time of year.

Cervical cancer develops in a woman's cervix (the entrance to the uterus from the vagina).
It is the 4th most common cancer in women. Effective primary (HPV vaccination) and secondary prevention approaches (screening for, and treating precancerous lesions) will prevent most cases. Spread the word!

WHO estimates that over 12k people require medical evacuation from #Gaza to access specialized treatment.

Since Oct 2023, only 5325 patients have been evacuated.

We strongly urge the use of all available corridors from Gaza to ensure medical evacuations proceed smoothly and without delay.

Good news in global health!

The outbreak of Marburg Virus Disease was declared over today by the Gvt of Rwanda with no new cases reported over the last 42 days after the last patient tested negative for the virus twice.

Genital herpes affects millions worldwide, yet the stigma surrounding it keeps the conversation in the shadows.

We need more research and investment in developing new herpes vaccines and therapies, and their equitable use, to improve quality of life for people around the world.
