i have not been drawing much lately but sometimes is still better than never ig
Drawings on sketchbook page & scrap of paper with black permanent marker. On the page is a black ink portrait of a solemn whippet dog wearing a turtleneck and beanie. On the scrap of paper is a black ink doodle of a stripey cat with a heart over its head. I tried to draw it holding a mouse in its mouth but it's hard to tell cos it's too dark.

finally watched alien romulus & this sums up my experience

i did not know dance music could be heavy & dark before i saw music videos from this, i was a snobby punk kid and it broke thru that and opened my mind to electronic music. it sounds so 90s cheese now but idc i will be forever grateful to these lads

watching a lot of old movies lately & it is causing some unexpected feelings to emerge
the "neuron activation" monkey meme, but the monkey is looking at Peter Cushing as Van Helsing about to pound a stake into some sort of dracula (the dracula is obscured by its coffin). i am the monkey, in this situation.

this week i am learning about 1-point and 2-point perspective so here is my 1-point exercise (yes i know my shadows are botched af)
