Book 56 was a quick book that drew me in. The School Gates. Nothing special, but kept me interested, so I shall try another by the same author next.

Book 55 was Zofia Nowak' Book of Superior Detecting.
Was hoping it would be like Elinor Oliphant. Not quite. Enjoyed the Polish voices. But not the best balance of serious topic and fun investigation for me.

Book 54 was The Book of Guilt. ONE OF THE BEST THIS YEAR! loved the idea and the writing. Highly recommend!

Book 53 was DO NO HARM and I loved this story. Very unbelievable, but exciting. Lots of blood and surgeries. Loved it.

Book 52 was one I wanted to love. Written by a primary school teacher. Was really willing it to be amazing.... it was just ok. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Book 48 Liked it. Someone who knows their Shakespeare would probably appreciate it even more. Enjoyable style, some playscript, some prose.

Book 47 was very special. Read in one day and couldn't put it down. 😭 A difficult read. Lots of tears. Lots of moments that will stay with me forever.

Book 46 - The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty
REALLY enjoyed this family saga full of secrets and drama. In particular enjoyed Grace's storyline. Now looking forward to watching the BBC version. A great end-of-summer read. #booksky

Book 44 was Weyward. Bookclub read. Rare for me to read two books I love in one go, but I did. Loved it too. In a different way to the previous one. Three linked story lines. Fast paced. Will read her second book soon. Great, great read! #booksky
