Ok, first one is moving walkway and not a train station, second one is between stations, and the third is the station itself (which is art!).

We’ve been fine with our Nest the last couple of years but no one will beat this bad boy:

Central time zone in the South might be the most ideal situation in the US.
You don’t get the early sunsets like Chicago in winter nor late sunrises like Atlanta now.

Plus local news at 10 & west coast games aren’t quite as awful.

There’s a reason the much shorter Twenty20 format is more popular today, the same one used for the Indian Premier League.

The five-day test matches were what my dad’s generation watched, but at least one of my cousins hated it.

One-day International is the World Cup format.

There a lot of good related discussion in the latest @billsimmons.bsky.social podcast too. Both recent and longer term trends going back 10–20 years.

A bit warmer high here today but feels amazing - like the pleasant mid/late-September weather coming early.

I can’t fathom why New Yorkers would feel like it’s cold.

I haven’t seen it myself (stopped by one north of Nashville off I-65 in late June), but apparently they’re moving towards “HGTV Millennial Gray” like a lot of other things. What Lindy Man on the other site calls “Refinement Culture”.
