That’s such a good idea! I invested in the Beadsmith bobbins (particularly the weighted ones), but for longer braids particularly, these look great!

I’m so bad at using the disks. I learned initially on the marudai, and I can’t seem to get the hang of the disks, despite my best efforts. My tension gets all off and then things are a mess. I’d love the portability if I can figure it out though!

That’s actually what I started with! I’ve been mostly using paracord as of late, but I’m considering using some of my cotton weaving yarn for kumihimo, thus my question.
