Using our new tools, we validated eosinophil homing in homeostasis and inflammatory states like #Mycobacterium marinum-induced #granulomas. These tools open up exciting possibilities for exploring eosinophil functions in #inflammation, #infection, and beyond using the #zebrafish model. 🧪 🦠 4/6

🔬 We developed a new transgenic reporter line and polyclonal antibody to visualize #eosinophils and their #granules both in vivo and ex vivo. Our study reveals "eosinophil most abundant protein" (Embp) as a novel granule-specific marker in zebrafish eosinophils. #ImmunoSky 3/6
