in winter there is fog and reduced visibility, and you need to lase the target, meaning there is increased risk to be shot down.

In the Gulf war (1st major war where precision munitions were widely employed) they found that you need clear sight of target, and to lase the target till impact. This was not always ideal, giving rise to the JDAMs (using gps coordinates). This might not be a great weapon in Ukraine, especaly winter

People need to stop believing russia has unlimited manpower. And they have reduced signing bonus, so they will attract less and less to fight. Russia is slowly being pushed towards hard decisions for its manpower.

I meant there were 3 subs visible on the camera footage during the attack. We don't know if 4th was also in port but out of frame, or at sea and it's returned since the attack.

If the hull itself was damaged, repair might be useless. Because a sub hull is made to take the pressure of the water, once damaged, you might never have the same hull integrity, and thats assuming they can fix it.

The other 2 subs that were in the attack video have been shifted to other berths, indicating they cant move the attacked sub. While damage seems minimal to the sub, satelite images wont tell us if the shaft bearings and prop are in good condition.

Im sure im cursed, whereever i am, snow avoids that area. And i live near the Carpathian mountains. If i go North pole 1 winter, they might get sunshine and beach weather.
