The politics of inevitability is a self-induced intellectual coma.

Lover of podcasts, books, Commander, policy, and technology.
I appreciate the push for other games lately like TCC and GTS showing off Riftbound.

I feel like the argument of “vote with your wallet” is used to boycott something and often enough about spending on competitors.

I played and enjoyed Historic until they added Alchemy cards. I played and enjoyed Pioneer until they announced Universes Beyond for Standard. I love legacy formats, but clearly WotC wants rotation in every format.

I’ll play Commander still, but have lost any motivation to play 1v1 formats.🫤

I spent years saving and collecting the fetches and shocks for Azorius/Jeskai control (JTMS too). When I was finally “ready to play” modern, they released Modern Horizons and priced me out again…

I really like commanders that take specifically two evergreen mechanics that haven’t been together before and just slap them on a commander that cares about those two mechanics.

To be fair this is where the real race lies for a lot of places. Too many people complain about who their representative is in the general election, but didn’t lift a finger in the primary.
