What YouTube accounts should we add to our monitoring?

We manually follow YouTube accounts in order to detect research linked in their description fields. So we don't follow everything, you see.

Send us your suggestions!

Experience isn't always a good thing. For instance, I can't see this Portuguese Tax Authority website and not giggle. My assumption: the designer did a mockup in Balsamiq, sent it to the devs who implemented it blindly. The style is a mockup style, nothing like the website. But it's live 😅

Did Portugal and Spain just forget to pay their electricity bill?!
🇵🇹 Portugal’s power grid operator said the outage was caused by a ‘rare atmospheric phenomenon’ in Spain.

💡Meanwhile, Portuguese Development Minister says the power outage may be due to "cyber attack".

Today Altmetric is announcing a major development in collaboration with the Brain Occipital Lobe Learning Observation Centre Kalhausen-Strasbourg.

From today Altmetric will be able to determine what research paper you're thinking of, regardless of what you're actually writing/saying.

In March 2024, on most days, Bluesky hosts more posts linked to research published in 2025 than X.

By quite a lot.

The Altmetric account is on fire 🔥🔥🔥
Instead of that, write one of Bluesky's wonderful threads! Even if it's just two posts, write more, not less.

But leave your links intact. Won't someone think of the PRECIOUS LINKS?

If a drug was prescribed to a patient, that would mean its underlying research was impactful in society, right? @altmetric.com can now see if it was recommended in Clinical Guidelines, which is a nice proxy.
And: new colour in the Altmetric Badge! 🥳
