Wouldn't we all. There's quite a lot of evidence that a lot of birds cross the channel from counts on the Channel Islands, Start Point, Portland Bill etc. but not many ringing recoveries from further south so it's a bit of an unknown. They're more migratory on the continent.

I think movements of this size are prob. annual. I'm confident that this is the best migration bottleneck for this species in the UK + one of the best in Europe
