A great find (it's a male, by the way). After a couple of quieter years, Willow Emeralds do seem to have resumed their ongoing range expansion once again.

This individual is an immature male Migrant Hawker (different pattern on the side of the thorax to SMH, amongst other small differences). Southern Migrant Hawkers are still rare in southern Cambridgeshire, though becoming more widespread in the fens in the north of the county.

Amazing - one of the biggest counts of mature adults ever in Britain, though they did have 100+ at a site in Cornwall a few years back.

Great finds! There were also large numbers of Red-veined Darter at Portland Bill today.
