I am leaving this here in case you have an accent but feel an equally valued member of the society in your lovely blue neighborhood. You are not. Not in Trump’s America. Sooner or later someone will tell you to back where you are from in your most vulnerable moment.
Today in La Jolla Shores Beach a white man crashed into my fully stopped car from behind while I was waiting for a leaving car to take the space, yelled at me for being there, mocked me for taking pictures, called me freak and crazy, and told me to go back where I come from because of my accent.

I think the Calm app hooked me up for life since they have Tamara Levitt’s recordings. Her voice is like the safety blanket or whatever item that used to soothe me when I was a toddler. I cannot relax with any other narrator. I tried many times. It just does not work.

Just experienced an earthquake. It is weird moving back to an earthquake zone after years of safety in Arizona. I don’t panic when I tremble during the day. Night earthquakes are scary though. Reminds me the that August night in 1999.
