If you both respect the boundaries, it can work. Set hard boundaries. No pics that you wouldn't show a relative. No talking after 10 (whenever, y'all grown ass adults). No using terminology that would indicate a relationship ("ok, TTYL, love you!"). No alone time, in private. No dancing.
