I think I'm at the point (doing the tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn, the 5th and 6th books of the series, and previously reading all of the ACOTAR series) that I have to admit that no, my wife isn't making me read these books and yes, I actually am enjoying Sarah J. Maas books.

While I was really not expecting to like "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" here I am 4 episodes into it and I'm really enjoying it. Love how they've boiled down decades of Spidey lore to create a dense, syrupy world where everyone and everything adds flavour!!

On Friday, the incredible @annecomics.bsky.social recommended two books. I went straight out to my LCBS....and they didn't have either. But they could get them for me quickly! So guess what I picked up today!? Looking forward to both, but Historia looks beautiful!

My best friend had Osborn hair when we were kids and is a redhead, which has in turn made me aware of the US politician John Oxendine.....another of the Obsorn hair brotherhood.

So hyped for #bluebeetle later this week. Hope it does incredibly well at the box office. I'm worried though that I see more marketing for Strays than I see for it.

A few things stuck with me after watching Barbie:
- America Ferrera is incredible as always!
- This is definitely my favourite Margot Robbie role
- As a people-pleaser, I can, regrettably, sympathize with Ken and many of the poor choices he made throughout the film
