Interesting to hear some more interest from PL clubs in Jota. Is there a way that after getting no traction from Newcastle we move for both Osimhen and Ekitike? To replace Darwin and jota while Minimising the risk of HE acclimatising to the league? 2/3 seasons of VO before he heads off to Saudi? 🤔

Based on nothing at all I’m going to assume that Wirtz’s dad was a huge fan of LFC in the 80’s and the Jurgen also managing has cemented that. He’s now desperate to make the move to us happen 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Could Rodrygo end up being the number 9 and being used like Diaz this season? Big gamble if so but if you can’t get Alvarez now but you can in 12 months maybe it’s a risk worth taking. Slot clearly wants more from his 9 including not being wasteful with their shooting.

I think that Frankfurt have now over priced Ekitike - the noise around him and Isak who’s again over priced with his injury record. Yesterday’s comments from admittedly not a great source but it gets me excited again about Alvarez. He’s had a stunning season PL experience and character. He’s the one

Surely a better approach if we could would be to get Ekitike and Delap instead of just Isak. With the volume of chances we create any sort of decent finisher is going to end up with near elite figures. Also Isak injury record worries me just like having a new Sturridge.

Ekitike seems a lot more Liverpool (Edwards / Hughes) signing. He’s in the ‘about to explode’ category assuming he progresses. Very similar profile to Isak but without the injury worries. I also don’t think Newcastle will sell and I can’t see Atletico letting Alvarez go after only a year either.
