with how big EQ was, it wouldn't surprise me! Morrowind had such a small team I doubt any of the devs from EQ worked at Bethesda at the time. I know that Morrowind's biggest aesthetic influences came from Star Wars, Dune, and Oddworld. To my knowledge EQ was never cited as a direct influence however
