Got back to work on the Tactical mode, now includes an animated cursor! I'm technically hijacking Godot's pause system for this, hopefully that won't bite me later...

For the seperated polygons, I'd probably turn on auto-merge, with an extremely small merging distance. might need some manual fixes still, but a good start.

if you want to make changes to geo that's already got a UV map, turn on "Correct face attributes" and "keep connected" they're lifesavers!
