Dad's been gone for 4 years now and I miss him every day, but seeing and hearing so many of the same mannerisms and satisfaction with a job well done made me feel very close to him. Thank you as always.

Fair enough! I also don't watch much TV these days aside from college football, and I've been especially burned out on the usually bleak world of prestige TV over the last few years so I definitely get it, but I'm willing to give this a shot for now.

At least based on the first couple episodes that doesn't feel like the hook? I watched and was more intrigued than enthralled, but given Gilligan's track record and how much I enjoyed BB/BCS I'm willing to stick with it

Do you think it's possible to be successful in a career like this if you're actually capable of finding satisfaction and contentment at a "lower level" rather than eternally wanting to climb the ladder?

I'm just getting to listen to this and as someone a few years older than you that is struggling mightily with being a single dad empty nester I may now be in bed for the rest of the day 😭
