Back in winter Britain. Nothing like a super early start and an empty Thameslink carriage.
Taxi driver was old school and checked that I had my passport.
I’m thinking that old school used to be a negative thing - now it feels honourable. Or maybe I’m just getting older schooler…? 👵🏼

Brought my own model to Deadvlei… (my sister lol)
I was almost looking more forward to these dead trees than the dunes, and they were very photogenic, but I think by the time we got down there, light just wasn’t that exciting anymore.

Big Daddy, took us six hrs on a bumpy road from Windhoek to get there, but all worth it.
Stunning silence and the red sand vibrated in the morning sun, creating artful patterns and shapes.
