A warning to cat lovers: we lost this sweet baby, Eilonwy, this week. She had swallowed a string which was stuck in a tooth and went all the way to her intestines. She did well during surgery and was improving for two days. The third day, the vet called to say her kidneys were failing.

Even met some meerkats, a Shiba Inu, and went to a cat cafe.

Been back from Japan for a week and sorely missing it. Zushi was amazing: small town and city feel depending on where you were. Also went to Kamakura, Tokyo, Yokosuka, and Yokohama. It was amazing meeting family and the people of Japan live up to their gracious reputation.
