The company got the added weeks of development and then didn’t pay him a severance package.

Shame on all of them for making a criteria of his dismissal that he wasn’t using AI to write his code. A) he did as it was mandated B) what a waste of senior technical knowledge to want them to prompt vs write actual working code

Shame on the manager who gave him a bonus in July and zero performance feedback prior to a week ago.

Shame on the HR dept that allowed this timing on relation to the layoff.
