But then you've got Anti-Dühring to tide you over, featuring some proper laugh-out-loud comedic and sarcastic writing and which you can clearly see in later takedowns of Kautsky, Bernstein etc by Lenin and Luxemburg (and Stalin, to a mildly lesser extent).

Oh absolutely, Engels' more scientific works are extremely concentrated - one definitely has to allow oneself plenty of time to read the likes of Origin of the Family or Dialectics of Nature.
