Below is a Columbia Yarns shawl pattern from abt 1900-1908, made into a tarot card pouch.

I'm using a 3.5mm hook and a fingering weight, 70% bamboo/30% cotton blend yarn, to much success!

The pattern is transcribed directly so it is a bit odd compared w/ modern crochet, but doable!

Bad news re: one of my shawls… the pattern stopped matching up and I have no idea where the mistake is to fix it! And after checking the pattern again, I’ve deduced that the final product would be way too small anyway! 😭😭

So I have to unravel the whole thing and make a different shawl… 🧶🥲
