Do the obscenely wealthy not need this information as well? They also need to know if a gigantic storm is headed their way. This is so short-sighted.

Seriously. What is happening to our country is devastating. Yes, 50% of our citizenry are morally repugnant and voted for this, but the United States used to stand for something hopeful. This is so sad.

I'm starting to believe this more and more, and it's terrifying.

Of course they did. They have no respect for the law. It means nothing to them.

Sold our Tesla last week, and we were both happy to watch it get towed away.

I think so, but it is a system that worked for us for awhile- or, at least, worked better for us than the current system. I think it's reasonable to try other models, and maybe something similar to Europe, where rentals vs. owning, is more the standard will benefit us.

With Trump’s tariff wave back on—including proposed 145% tariffs on Chinese building materials—and construction costs spiking again, multifamily owners with properties are in a strong position. It’s a case of bad news for builders = good news for landlords.

... And bad news for America.

I think this is an excellent idea and that our government needs to be working on something like this, but this will become more of a localized effort (if it gets legs). That said, in assuming people will rent, do we assume defeat? There is no equity in renting. Just curious about your take on that.

I wonder what is wrong with our society.

I don't see how the tariffs or kidnapping the labor helps with housing affordability.

Didn't California open up ADU zoning to allow for more housing. Maybe they did this in conjunction. This is upsetting.

In Colorado Springs, they have proposed special housing (aka, trailer parks) for teachers, and that feels like a step in the wrong direction.

They should care about the fate of Palestine (we all should), but right now, our concerns need a hierarchy of concern and it starts at home.

Well, I'm terrified and it's not even 10AM yet.
