I haven’t watched it yet because while I love Del Toro I’ve been hearing mixed things so I’m glad to have your perspective on it. All anyone has been guching about at work is this movie and then wanting the book and the book tbh was never that great in my eyes.

I am but a lowly bookseller so I know nothing of this BUT I do notice when new books are coming out we get sent very small synopsis’ of the books making it easy to recommend and sell them if that helps! Ps I can’t wait for it to get published so I can force everyone at the store to buy it!
