I know there are tools that automate migration, but I prefer to wait for announcements from the various followed people of their accounts here. Inefficient? Maybe. Slow? Definitely. But it makes me feel more engaged. That and respecting that they took the time and effort to announce it. Also safer.

The first thing I'd ever said on Twitter was along the lines of "I'm here because of the Tumblr exodus". And now I'm here going "I'm here because of the Twitter exodus". 🙃
