Reposting one of my OCs, Tria! She's from my microscopic universe, I'm currently writing out the first couple episodes, and working on drawing them out on harmony + finalizing color palettes, but these pieces I did for Art Fight (they're a little loosey goosey 🦆) have been real helpful to reference!
A blue glowing girl sits on the ground, smoking. Her clothes are baggy and green, and her body language cagey. Her natural darker blue roots have long since grown out, and her glowing green eyes hold a frown, with a lit cigarette between her golden lips. The piece uses lots of texture and overlayed colorful circles, since in this universe characters are microscopic, so they're based off of how cells look A very default pose of the character, a first try using these colors, with fuzzy and spikey textures, undefined separations in many parts, and an overlay of cell like shapes. This piece was playing with how much needed to be defined to really see the body. The girl scornfully looks down at the viewer, standing in the wind, and holding her motorcycle helmet. These sketches are a little broken because I actually did them on my phone, drawing with my finger!
