Got the 7-day free quicksand trial of apple tv so I could watch Come See Me in the Good Light. 15/10 worth it. Riveting and emotional in the best hardest ways.

five mullein stalks turned into torches. Three have flower petals on them, two are plain. They are staged laying down on an old white shower curtain to catch the wax drips. A red and orange marigold blossom lies unused and the wax paintbrush is laying there too.

I pulled it off the shelf and found enclosed in its pages a postcard from a beloved who died back in 2020. I'd forgotten it entirely. Seeing her handwriting is lovely and melancholy. I'd turned her on to Spanbauer. We laughed our fool heads off. "fuck those Mormon sons of bishes" 🤓🥰🤓🥰🤓
