Just wanted to explain the absence from social media. We have still been producing the pod and putting out regular episodes tho. I just haven’t been on here or other social platforms to promote it because I’m honestly just hoping to lay low and unnoticed. Because being noticed seems terrifying atm.

There’s the fear of the hate and the sheer amount of dehumanizing comments and attitudes that lead to someone committing violence on our community. So yeah lots going on.
And of course there is also the Davy that my saying anything will probably not amount to much #transrights #babytrans #lgbtq

So I feel that alongside calling my representatives (futile I know but I have to) and writing to them and participating in trans community events I need to say something but there is real fear in that you know? Besides the fear of losing my employment for not fitting in or being too vocal

I am a #babytrans as they say. Only two months into my transition but 48 years into the personal struggle to accept myself and love myself as opposed to wanting to end myself. #transrightsarehumanrights #usagonecrazy #lgbtq

I try very hard to keep politics and social issues stuff out of the pod. Plus we are a tiny, itty bitty, zygote of a pod. Beneath the notice of all really. But, despite that I feel like I should still say something.

So it’s fine if you and tons of others voted for trump then and now. I get it. I just hope that when the evidence is staring them in the face, they do what you did and wake up and turn that fervor against him instead of entrenching themselves because being wrong feels bad. No one likes to be wrong.

More often than not. They way people vote has very little to do with logic or metrics or evidence and almost exclusively about “vibes” (I hate using that term but it’s very apropos)

They vote for the person that makes them feel accepted and feel like the preconceived notions they have are valid

I’d say the most terrifying aspect of water bending is blood bending.

Every element, when compressed like that, is utterly terrifying. Compressed fire? Plasma torch. Compressed earth? Diamond pick. Or metal pick if they know how to bend metal. Compressed wind? Same as water really. It’ll blow a hole right through you.
