5/5 If you encounter flooded roadway. DO NOT TRY AND GO THROUGH. Turn around don't drown! As flooding issues will be worsened with this rainfall. Wind driven rain will make travel conditions extremely hazardous.

4/5 However once over land the rainfall will become the primary concern. Wind will make the situation even more dangerous. The low itself will rapidly weaken and dissipate later today as the feature from the west pushes through and collides with 35T.

3/5 Current radar observations show the is moving on shore, so time is effectively up for preparations.

This rain will progress further north as another feature pushes in from the west. This is where line convection is possible with this feature.

2/5 Heavy rainfall and gale to moderate gale force gusts are possible across the south coasts this evening. Heavy rainfall will lead to more flooding and if preparations aren't completed please ensure that they are.

5/5 - Thursday: More heavy rain and blustery winds are expected and even more flooding concerns. So, this will before Friday and on Friday it's where it'll be drier. But Saturday is where EVEN MORE rainfall will occur. More detail will come clearer later today and tomorrow.

4/5 - But near term: More flooding concerns for western UK specifically southwest UK (Wales and England) but further north rain also spreads and is persistent. Before the front shifts over southeast UK and again bringing more flood risks.

3/5 - Likely a weak mid latitude cyclone. Will bring horrendous conditions to southern portions of the UK before spreading north. And bringing HUGE rainfall totals through to Saturday and finally clearing by Monday. Where it's expected to be drier

Northern Ireland and Rep of Ireland. Coastal moderate gales to hurricane forced gusts is possible along coastal areas as well as coastal flooding and inland flooding from the rain band, that is in fact starting to make landfall now #UKWeather #IREWeather #StormBram

Scotland will see more punishing winds in the Northwest. Flooding will be a hazard through Scotland.

Flooding will be primary further south and in Central Scotland and Southern Wales and England. Coastal flooding is also possible. Coastal gales will be the main hazards for southern and Western England and Wales.
