Conservation Works at St Anne's

The steps leading to St Anne's Shandon have been refurbished by Hearthstone. 2 unstable steps were re-bedded, & a deteriorated step was restored. Localised pointing was done to enhance durability & aesthetics, preserving the steps while ensuring safe access for all.

Hymns always get me. Singing Lo! He Comes with Clouds Descending today got really emotional. Had an image of Jesus returning still bearing crucifixion scars but so full of love to set all things right. Hard not to weep as I started the service! Blessed Advent!

Garda checkpoint taking my son to school. Thought it was checking registration and insurance etc. Nope—it was drink-driving and I actually had to do a breathalyser test at 8:20am! Never done one in my life! I passed 🤣
