Nooooo this is a transparent PNG why add a black background!
Look when I upload a transparent PNG here it's background turns black. However in pixelfed's portfolio page, the background is the average color of the picture. Although pixelfed is a relative small webside it's pretty decent.

Much better now. After I liked some cat photos now my timeline is flooded by cats!
