Do you use fonts for all text in an image or do you hand write some such as sound effects? Ive been going back and forth on this in my own art deciding between legibility and dynamically drawn words.

Ooh hope it turns out awesome for you! I just started using alcohol markers after wanting to for years. Its a big skill. And I love prismacolor colored pencils theyre great too. Have fun!

Yes! Relatable. Are you going to color it traditionally? If so with what medium?

The line weight looks great, especially on the kimono! It does take a lot of practice to get used to certain pens. And whenever I draw traditionally sometimes, my brain thinks I need to connect the lines still so I can use the fill tool, lol.
