To me, G&G is a graphic novel rather than a "comic" - it's as complex as any regular novel, just presented differently. A "comic" to me is more episodic - a sitcom as opposed to a movie. I'm not trying to devalue comics or their creators, it's just a different style of writing and presentation.

i never really got into the whole "social media" thing, so i think the main way the phone has negatively affected me is that i rely on it for looking things up at any time, and my memory (which was not good to begin with) is probably degrading. mostly, i use it for an always-available media player.
