Recognise I am no market expert here, but seems to me the natural response to this kind of policy would be Treasuries in freefall and the dollar severely undermined

The idea that the end of central bank independence, the scrapping of a 2% inflation target etc would usher in a deal making "bonanza" seems at best naive and at worst highly dangerous
