I love this "map of lost data" created by @franzimachtdas.bsky.social ! Definitely captures many familiar data struggles. Presented in the wonderful context of making eDNA FAIR by Miwa Takahashi at CSIRO Australia for #OBON (so many folks not yet on bluesky :'( )

I was thrilled to present on the West Coast Ocean Biodiversity Observing Network this week at the GEO BON Conference in beautiful Montreal! Great to interact with a vibrant group of environmental DNA scientists working on biodiversity and conservation. It's an exciting time for marine eDNA.
