Can someone explain how the president is immune from lawsuits during his tenure because he’s too busy running the country to be distracted by court cases, BUT trump is suing multiple companies and that’s OK? If he’s able to sue, why can’t he be sued?

It seems, this is only my thoughts, that if one purges the career workers at the DOJ and FBI, that even if in a month or a week republicans finally realize that things have gone too far, congress might not be able to impeach if the DOJ/FBI accused them of crimes and they were arrested. Their plan?

All I’ve heard is how he’s doing this to rewrite history so that Jan. 6 becomes something patriotic. I haven’t heard anyone say that the FBI/DOJ could come after congress to stop an impeachment, except for me of course.
