Financially speaking, that’s not an option for so many people. Not to mention that if everyone just found other jobs, that justifies corporations walking all over their employees to bully them into worse conditions. Boycotting will only work in solidarity of organized labor.

The average Sans Culotte storming the Tuileries on August 10, 1792 didn’t care about the ins and outs of the political landscape. They were hungry and scared. That’s what mattered. Same goes for the February revolution or the Mexican revolution. When it happens, political analysis won’t matter.

Most people in most revolutions don’t really get the basics of the politics. Most people most of the time only care about their immediate lives. That goes for those living through revolutions.
