Which they should have been doing anyway instead of providing massive dividends. It is equivalent to asset stripping, but the utility cannot fail so we bail them out! So bloody angry. It’s just a cash cow which leeches from the taxpayer.

I’m agreeing with you. We would not expect our customers to front the cost of investment. Our benefit comes further down the line from increasing volume, reach and quality. It’s an absurd position to take when they are making a fortune! And apparently this is for repair of old infrastructure! 2.

Exactly what I said earlier. I run a business. When we develop a new service we don’t put the prices up, we establish a capex line and this will eventually hit the bottom line in terms of EBITDA and profit.

I’m actually contemplating that actually a disastrous term of him, Reform and Tories might be the medicine we take to ensure the kids have a brighter future- get the shit of the last 20 odd years out of our systems and go back to where we should be….the EU.

100% agree. But each day is a day wasted and makes the likelihood of the positive impact being felt before the next election less likely. I really feel the stopwatch is slicing that opportunity away by the second. It is so maddening.
