Just to review, in the last week the President of the United States:
- Refused to condemn the rise of Neo-Nazis in his party
- Tried to block the release of further evidence he sexually abused children
- Encouraged the execution of Congressional Democrats

Noticing a trend of horror films using the aesthetic/outward trappings of found footage/faux doc, but then completely disregarding all of the strengths of that kind of film-making. Why is there a soundtrack? Who edited this? The limitations / tropes of FF can be superbly scary. Why not go for it?

I think so. The perceived „big“ artists aren’t supposed to vent, to say they’re broke, to say follower numbers don’t mean shit in the real world, because you’re shattering the illusion. But I’m sorry to break it to you, my guys. I’m a nobody and 90% of you probably have more money than me. 💀
I have to wonder if part of the outrage is 'but if these people with 'massive' accounts can't do it, how am I supposed to!?' cause they can't all just be incredibly naive.

i'm against the new TOS because no matter how uncomfortable you are with certain subjects, it's very easy to see how bad-faith interpretations of art could be weaponized, especially against marginalized artists, who are more likely to be targeted for harassment
